Beau as we affectionately refer to him, is our first stallion and still has my heart and always will. He has to be the most heavily feather stallion in New Zealand today and is a sight to behold with it all cleaned out flowing. I can only imagine how much more he would have if not running around on the hills through bushes and prickles. He was the first gypsy vanner to be imported into NZ back in June 2005, along with Rangitira Treasure and is truly an admirable representative of the breed in his astounding beauty and lovable, calm nature. He embodies all what we all strive for in a gypsy vanner, sweet pony head, small ears, good bone, short back with an abundance of "silky" feather to which he passes on to all his foals. Sweet tempered, he is totally bombproof and is well known in the Nelson area, as he has given many young children rides on his back, many as young as one. This year he was put into cart and it took all of 2 hours before he was pulling a sulky with me happily behind him grinning from ear to ear. Superstar is all we can say!
