Eldorado or simply El is simply divine and I can not fault this boy on any level. He has it all, movement, height, bone, stunning head and that calm sweet nature that we all expect in the gypsy vanner cross. Who needs colour when you have all this? This boy would be wasted as a trekking horse, as he has the potential to excel in eventing and even endurance, with that calm, cool thinking cap so common to the gypsy vanners. His full sister Diva has gone to a fabulous home and will be trained in jumping and all manners. They were very impressed by her ability to jump and doubly impressed when they spotted EL.
Originally I was going to sell El and his dam as a 3 in 1 package. Since then, I am so impressed with the foals she is producing I have decided to keep his dam and looking forward to her next foal out of The Butler, with fingers crossed for a buckskin or palomino.
El is now barely 6 months old and more than pleased with the bone that his sire, Picasso, has left. Once again Picasso has stamped his mark on his foals. El was named for his long legs as when he was born my friend said WOW he has legs like Elle MacPherson. Already he his tall for 5+ months and will likely surpass his dam in height. He has an abundance of natural presence and moves extremely well.
El should mature between 14.2-15 and will make an excellent prospect for all disciplines. He is a very proud colt with impeccable conformation and has a truly exciting future with the right person.
