Brightwater Big Red is close to my heart and was going to keep him as my riding horse, but have decided to offer him to the right home. He is an incredible survivor as he took me 4-5 months of hard work to save from severe joint ills that my "old" vet missed twice! It was only through the high doses of Vitamin C and my sheer determination not to let him go and Red's will to live that he has grown into a fine strapping young lad. He is very chilled out and is now rising 3 and happy to be anywhere. He carries a copy of the rare pearl gene which has added an extra shine to his chestnut coat. He has definitely out grown his dam, must have been all that Vitamin C and is a very healthy boy now. He has been herd raised like all our horses and not weaned from his dam till one year of age. We find this is the best start for a horse as they are left to be a horse first and allow their brains to mature before too much is asked of them.
