It is hard to believe that Brightwater Popett is only a 3/4 bred up filly foal, as she is simply what every breeder strives to breed when breeding up. She is the perfect example of what can be achieved in a short time when bred with quality horses. I dare say she is put together better than many purebreds and when you have some of the gypsy lads telling you she is a cracker, you know you have hit the jackpot. Her dam Renee produced a stunning buckskin tobiano filly the previous year with Tuscan and she is nice as well and could pass for a purebred too, but Popett just has that extra PIZAZZ. She was to be retained and probably put with Tuscan for a buckskin foal but a lovely lady came along and fell in love with her and who can blame her!
