Brightwater Wild Child is an exceptionally heavy 3/4 cross filly that rivals purebred status in bone, temperament and feather. She would be an exceptional buy for someone looking for that laid back gypsy horse without the big price tag. She has 4 white socks, but her mane and tail as well as her coat will darken up over time which is normal for buckskins. She had us all fooled for months that she was a palomino as we could not see any black hairs in her until she got to 2-3 months old. She has been herd raised for a year with her dam and sire like all our horses and has had the benefit of excellent nutrition right from word go. It has been shown that horses that stay on their dams until natural weaning occurs are taller, heavier bone with a much better start to life that carries them through as a no fuss, easy doer horse. As well they do not have that separation anxiety that is seen in many of the horses nowadays. Looking for non breeding home, but can discuss if you would like to take a foal out of her later on.

you can see she has excellent silky feather and her top layer is growing back after all if it was burnt off in the muddy winter.
