Momma Mia was all I could say when I saw this beautiful apricot colored filly standing in the paddock the day she was born. There was only a 25% chance of a homozygous pearl filly and that is what I was blessed with! So far to date I only know of 2 other homozygous red based pearl fillies in the gypsy world, so not only is she a looker, but very rare as well. She is the favourite out in the paddocks now for all the visitors and she is certainly the biggest teddy bear out there. She is well marked with a sweet head and a very lovely filly all around. Hopefully in a few years time Brightwater will be able to produce this beautiful apricot colour more often, so we can share it around as it is absolutely divine to look at. She is being retained as a future breeding mare for Brightwater although we have had some attractive offers on this one from overseas studs.
